Jill has enjoyed painting for many years and is a member of Hitchin Art Society and the Lilley Group. The choice of painting topics is wide but mainly landscape, either real or fantasy. While mainly painting in acrylic these days, she also paints in watercolour and oils and pen and wash.

For many years she had her own pottery and had commissions to create a detailed copy of clients’ houses in miniature. Unable to take all the pottery equipment on moving house, she then concentrated on painting, doing several courses at Hitchin College.
