Margaret was deemed to have talent at school but did not develop it until a friend, Morven Green (Artist), encouraged her to join her art group at the age of 57 (five years ago).

Margaret now explores varied media to constantly improve her work but favouring watercolour. Margaret started painting around 2007. She tried different media and different subjects. She finds art a very relaxing pastime and that it is nice to meet people of a like mind too.

Encouraged by Morven  Margaret likes to think she has improved her art since school and sells some of her work each year. A therapeutic activity and good to have Morven’s support and encouragement.
